What's this all about?
Many of us didn't grow up with great male role models. I know I didn't.
But at fifteen, I discovered rowing, and with it, some genuinely positive male role models. More than that, I landed in a community of people who lifted each other up, and that showed me anything was possible.
At 23, I made a decision to become a PT because I didn't want to end up like my dad - overweight, in chronic pain, and lacking basic mobility from living a sedentary life.
Over the last seventeen years, I've worked with hundreds of clients to help them improve their health and mobility — so they can keep living the life they want, and keep showing up for the people they love.
Out of a desire to improve the lives of even more people by improving the quality of snack foods available, I founded Tom & Luke.
Since exiting Tom & Luke, becoming a dad made my next chapter clear...
My dad passed away a few months after my son's first birthday from lifestyle illnesses that were absolutely preventable. - That means my boy is growing up without a granddad.
And I see it everywhere: men in their forties and fifties struggling with basic movement, held back by their knees, their back, old injuries — because they never invested in their health when they had the chance.
Here's the thing: we can reverse a lot of this. And if we catch it early, we can prevent it altogether!
My passion and expertise is in improving your health, your mobility, your posture, your strength. But I'm certainly not an expert father. And I know from experience that making real change takes accountability, because trying to do it alone doesn't feel good, and most of us have tried that already.
That's what Better Dad's Club is really about: a community where we learn from each other and do this together, building daily habits and real frameworks so we can be better than the role models we had.
But my experience also tells me that what works for me might not work for you. That's why my health coaching starts with uncovering your unique biology, so we can customise the right exercise, the right nutrition, and the right timing for you and your lifestyle.
Parenting is no different. We're all going to have different approaches and different needs. By sharing our experiences, we learn from those differences too, and that gives us more tools for navigating the challenges of fatherhood, with our kids, with our partners, so we can keep building the relationships that matter.
If this sounds like you, if you're ready to change not just your physical health, but how you're showing up as a dad, join the community, I look forward to seeing you there, brother!

Don't let a "bad back" stop you being a GREAT DAD!
Did you know most men are walking around with a lower back that's one wrong lift away from putting them out of action?
The longevity of your back depends on your deep core — the muscles that support and stabilize your pelvis and lumbar spine. Most men with lower back pain aren't dealing with a structural problem. They've just never learned how to properly activate these muscles — whether you're on the tools doing repetitive lifting, or stuck sitting at a desk all day.
How you move is more important than what you move. Stability in every joint in your body starts from your core.
Find out how to activate, strengthen, and condition your deep core using the Pelvic Pro Core Trainer.
