Move Better Blueprint FAQ's
How long does the whole process take?
Two in person sessions in total. (Allow for 60-75mins per session.)
Your first is the assessment, where we check your foundations, review your health appraisal questionnaire (done in your own time prior to our meeting), and take you through a postural assessment and movement screen. I then go away and build your blueprint.
Your second session is where I walk you through it in person, hands-on, so you know exactly how to do the work.
Do I need to already be fit or active to start this?
No. This is designed to meet you where you're at. Whether you're carrying an old injury, dealing with a stiff back, or just haven't moved properly in years, the assessment is what tells us your starting point. There's no baseline fitness required to book in.
What if I've got an old injury or ongoing pain?
That's exactly what this is for. The postural assessment and health appraisal questionnaire are designed to find where things aren't firing properly, which is often the real reason behind pain that's stuck around, rather than a symptom to just work through.
Is this an ongoing program, or a one-off?
Essentially this is a one-off.
You get your assessment, your custom blueprint, and your delivery session, then you're set up with a plan to run with for the next 4-8 weeks.
It's not a subscription or a coaching container. If you're after ongoing support beyond this, let's chat about how we can help you.
What's the difference between this and a normal personal training session?
A normal PT session usually jumps straight into exercise.
This starts with in-depth assessments first, because, if you're not assessing, you're guessing.
We check your foundations before we build anything, so your blueprint is based on what your body actually needs, not a generic template.
